Business Development Manager
Headquartered between Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, DC, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales and further develop a successful region.
As Business Development Manager your primary responsibilities consist of:
1. Contacting perspective clients and presenting the full range of HCEA services and capabilities by telephone, email and face to face appointments
2. Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with new clients, with particular emphasis on Architects, Civil Engineers, Commercial & Residential Developers, General Contractors, Health Care & Educational Institutions
3. Generating leads and appointments for yourself and the Branch Manager through tele-prospecting and networking
5. Generating letters of interest, quotes and proposals
6. Coordinating direct mail campaigns, the distribution of SOQs, 254/255s and other marketing media with the assistance of the Marketing Coordinator in Annapolis Junction, MD
7. Maintaining the database of yours sales activities in HCEA’s CRM & Internal Proposal setup system(s)
8. Following up with existing clients to assure satisfaction, respond to, solicit further sales and solve or refer problems
9. Participating in trade shows and designated trade association events
10. Gathering competitor information and gaining market intelligence
11. Working with VP of Business Development and Branch Managers to develop strategies for new business opportunities
12. Performing other sales related functions as directed.
Requirements
• Four year degree
• Architect/Engineering/Construction experience preferred
but not required
• One to two years experience in sales or related field

Mechanic
Wanted! A Mechanic who likes a challenge, is a self starter, flexible, computer literate, and can multi-task. One who likes working outside for the most part (we do have a shop) on equipment that a lot of people don’t even know exists. Equipment includes various drill rigs (air tracks and hydraulic rigs), compressors, concrete pumps, and other equipment (too numerous to mention). Duties to also include D.O.T. compliance for about 7 CDL trucks, 5 trailers, and several smaller vehicles. Must have own mechanic's tools, be able to weld, and a CDL driver's license is preferred.
