FORENSIC ENGINEERING

Forensic Investigations: Performed numerous forensic investigations for industrial, commercial and residential clients to determine causes of structural distress, and designed cost efficient repairs. Clients include Maryland Casualty, U.S.F.&G., The Cordish Co. and the Naval Academy.

Retaining Wall Design: Designed over 500 geogrid reinforced earth modular block walls, concrete walls, bulkheads and steepened slopes up to 45' tall for clients such as Wal Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, Rite Aid, T. Rowe Price, the Maryland Mass Transit Administration and The Rouse Company. Many of the walls were specifically designed to border and protect environmentally sensitive areas such as wetlands, streams, ponds, and forest preserves.

Super Span Culvert Design: Designed numerous super span culvert bridges and wing wall structures for county highways throughout the State of Maryland. Many of the culvert bridges were specifically designed to span streams and wetlands with minimal impact.

Industrial Design: Designed process towers, tank farm and machine foundation and spill containment walls for clients such as Millennium Chemical, Peridot Chemicals and Fluor Daniel.

Commercial and Residential Design: Designed framing and foundations for numerous low rise commercial and residential structures for a variety of clients including Westbrook Homes, Ryland Homes, N.V. Homes, Pulte Homes and the Cordish Co. Designed and inspected water quality control and riser structures, weirs, and dams for numerous storm water management facilities.

Demolition, Renovation & Shoring Design: Performed numerous designs for structure demolition, renovation and temporary shoring/bracing for clients such as the Cordish Co., Joseph Fay Co. and the Republic Paper Co.
