Williamsport Regional Medical Center
This project involved the construction of a 241,000 SF, six-story, structural steel Patient Tower Expansion at the Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. In addition, the project involved the renovation of approximately 27,000 SF of first floor space which contained sprayed fireproofing components. Additional work included associated parking and access areas, underground utilities and stormwater culverts. Hillis-Carnes was retained by the Construction Manager to provide materials testing and inspection services for: soils/earthwork, utilities, helical pile installations, foundations, cast-in-place concrete, structural steel, masonry, pavement, floor flatness and levelness, and sprayed on fire resistive materials.
