DEEP FOUNDATIONS:

Hillis-Carnes maintains engineers, specialists and equipment specifically for the challenges faced on projects with deep foundations. Our staff have experience in a multitude of settings and projects. We have performed design engineering, analysis and inspection on deep foundation systems for state transportation departments and large municipal projects across the country as well as for private clients and contractors.

Our deep foundation specialist has several published articles including:

"Bi-Directional Load Testing of Shafts to 6000 Tons", Design and Performance of Deep Foundations: Piles and Piers in Soft Rock, Geotechnical Special Publication No. 38, American Society of Civil Engineers, 1993, New York, pp. 204-217

"Osterberg Cell Sets Record in Kentucky", Foundation Drilling, ADSC: The International Association of Foundation Drilling, June/July, 1993, Dallas, pp. 21-22
