Yuri Chandler, PE

Yuri supports our clients with more than 22 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing, Laboratory Management, and Project Management. His experience extends across commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, and transportation projects and includes subsurface investigations, foundation design recommendations, earthwork, retaining walls, pavement design, settlement analyses, special inspections, and construction materials testing.

Yuri is currently overseeing our Richmond, VA office, and his responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations, including project delivery, client relationships, staff development, and business growth. His technical experience also includes managing accredited testing laboratories, implementing quality management systems, developing technician training programs, and providing technical oversight for geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services.

Yuri earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He is also an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
