Hillis-Carnes Welcomes Environmental Division Manager, Andrew Wicks

Hillis-Carnes is pleased to announce that Andrew Wicks has joined our Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, office as Environmental Division Manager. Andrew brings more than 15 years of environmental consulting and project management experience serving public and private sector clients across the United States. He holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and is a licensed Pennsylvania Lead Inspector and certified Asbestos Inspector.

Andrew’s technical experience includes Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), hazardous material building inspections, hazardous waste compliance, NEPA compliance, permitting, and environmental project management. Throughout his career, he has prepared and reviewed approximately 300 Phase I ESAs and more than 50 Phase II ESAs for commercial, industrial, telecommunications, multi-family developments, transportation, and renewable energy projects nationwide, all in accordance with ASTM standards.

In addition to environmental due diligence, Andrew has managed a wide range of environmental projects involving asbestos and lead inspections and abatement, soil and groundwater remediation, underground storage tank closures, and environmental compliance investigations. His experience includes environmental assessments and remediation efforts for PennDOT, NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, senior living facilities, bridge replacement projects, and numerous commercial and infrastructure developments throughout the region.

As Environmental Division Manager, Andrew will lead the growth of Hillis-Carnes’ Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) services in Central Pennsylvania while supporting the environmental consulting needs of clients across the region. We are excited to welcome Andrew to Hillis-Carnes and look forward to the expertise and leadership he will bring to our environmental services group!
