Hillis-Carnes is proud to recognize five engineers who have recently been promoted to Principal Engineer — a milestone that reflects sustained technical excellence, leadership, and impact across the organization.

At HCEA, the Principal Engineer role recognizes engineers who shape technical direction, oversee risk management, serve as client advocates, maintain and enforce company quality assurance standards, and mentor’s employees across the company.

Each employee went through a vigorous vetting process including a review of their qualifications from more senior work peers.  This process alone strengthened our peer networks across the company.  I was also encouraged by their completion of formalized Leadership training.  Principals lead our company and I am eager to see who’s next to strive for this accomplishment.
